Stock Control Assistant
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000
We are recruiting a Stock control Assistant for a Sheffield business.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress your stock knowledge and join a successful and expanding firm. It is a permanent full time Monday to Friday role.
Reporting to the Category and Stock Manager, this role will be varied and a hands-on role. You will focus on supporting the manager with stock management. This will involve placing orders, supplier liaison and maintaining stock levels.
We seek an educated candidate who can add their value to the company.
Key areas of the role:

Manage the company's inventory system and stock levels

Perform routine stock counts

Report on monthly stock levels

Place orders with suppliers

Work in collaboration with key suppliers

Assess and analyse the product range

Experience of managing stock in retail, merchanting or wholesale

Monitor stock availability, turn, placing orders on and expediting orders from suppliers
The candidate should possess good IT skills, be able to communicate with internal and external personnel and able to work to deadlines and resolve issues.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate, so the candidate should have a desire to learn and want to progress their knowledge.
The salary is £20,000 to £22,000 plus bonus and company benefits.
